Downtown Santa Barbara
Beautification Day
June 3, 9:00am - noon

Join the Downtown Santa Barbara Organization in beautifying our downtown, with a special volunteer clean up next Saturday, June 3rd from 9:00 am - 12:00 pm. Meet at the Downtown Organization office at 27 E. De La Guerra Street. Free coffee and a light breakfast will be available for volunteers.

Downtown Beautification Day will be a family friendly event where we will help pick up litter and remove graffiti downtown. You will be given supplies and special volunteer t-shirt on event day. Join us and find out about other upcoming downtown, initiatives, events and volunteer opportunities as well.

Downtown Santa Barbara Announces Summer “Downtown LIVE” Music Series Wednesdays, May 31st - July 26th 6:00-8:00 PM

The Downtown Organization of Santa Barbara’s Staff and Board of Directors is pleased to announce the Summer schedule for the “Downtown Live” Free Music Series Wednesdays from 6:00-8:00 PM. The series is set to run for 9 weeks through May 31st –July 26th and will feature local bands each week in a casual setting outside of OPPI’Z Bistro and Natural Pizza and across from L’Antica Pizzeria Da Michele on the 1000 Block of the State Street Promenade between Carrillo and Figueroa Street.

While the music is free and open to the public to enjoy, patrons are also encouraged to grab a bite or a drink at:

Together to Net Zero Emissions -
Carbon Neutrality in Santa Barbara
Brainstorming Sessions 3/3 and 3/7 from 11-1 pm

The City needs your help to get to carbon neutrality by 2035 (or sooner!) Share your ideas about how to equitably and efficiently reduce Santa Barbara’s greenhouse gas emissions in these virtual brainstorming sessions. The City’s three largest greenhouse gas emission sources will be covered: transportation, energy, and waste. Everyone is welcome and there will be Spanish translation provided. Through these virtual gatherings, the City hopes to learn from residents and business owners’ climate action challenges and opportunities!
