My Story
The Wedding Farm LLC was born from a lifelong desire to build something meaningful — a business rooted in creativity, service, and exceptional experiences.
My name is Katherine (Kat) Balis. After being discharged from the Army Reserves, I earned my degree in Business Management and have spent over eight years in the energy construction industry, where precision, leadership, and accountability were non-negotiable. During that time, I managed complex projects and oversaw budgets of up to $1.25 million, developing an eye for detail and a deep understanding of how thoughtful planning directly impacts success.
Yet even in a structured, high-stakes environment, my passion for creating never faded. I have always been drawn to the beauty of well-planned gatherings — the kind that feel effortless for guests but are carefully orchestrated behind the scenes.
