It’s an Oakland Art Party that intentionally cross-pollinates genres and scenes! It's the kind of night where you unexpectedly meet good people you might have never met otherwise and leave inspired.

Sip and paint with us, join a clothing swap, and flail wildly to live music and killer DJs. We strongly encourage at least one very, very wild dance moment (even if only for 10 minutes). We hope it becomes your go-to second Thursday.

We’re celebrating under the sea — pollinating our diversity like the coral reefs, an explosion of vivid life!
Come as the sea creature of your choosing, a beach lover, captain, mermaid, sailor, pirate... or water itself.

Bring spring clothing & accessories (costume clothing too!) and swap for the treasures of others. We like our clothing to travel to friendly faces, carry stories, and elevate actual style — bold as love and kind to the planet. We already have so much clothing among us... why not save money while looking fly AF?

A live jam inviting musical participants of the evening to ride the waves together — with an opportunity for wordsmiths to submit prose on the spot for the band to make songs of.

WORDSMITHS: Submit prose on oceanic themes. The Actual Intelligence musicians will transform your words into a live-jammed sonic spell to help heal the planet — starting right here in our corner of Oakland.
