One of my favorite parts of this job?
Watching your families grow, one milestone at a time.

From bump… to newborn… to first steps… to big kid giggles — I get a front-row seat to the chapters that pass way too quickly. And when families come back year after year, it’s the biggest honor. It means you trust me with the moments that matter, the ones that become your family’s story.

Every session is a snapshot of who they are right now — the missing front tooth, the toddler curls, the shy smile that suddenly turns into a full belly laugh. These are the details we’ll never get back… unless we save them.

To my returning clients: thank you for allowing me to grow with you.
To the new families I haven’t met yet: I can’t wait to tell your story next. 🤍📸

Today my heart is extra tender thinking about all the families I’ve photographed this year.
The tiny hands wrapped around their mama’s,
the siblings who can’t stop giggling,
the parents who look at their children with that mixture of pride, wonder, and “please stop doing that.” 🤣

These are the moments that stick with me long after the session ends.
The ones that remind me why I do what I do.

Family is everything.
The people at your table today—the ones you laugh with, cook for, lean on, and love fiercely—
they are the story worth remembering.

Time moves quietly, and we don’t always notice the changes until they’re already behind us.
That’s why I’m so grateful to help you hold onto pieces of this season…
the warmth, the connection, the love that lives in the in-between moments.

One moment they were learning to walk…
and now they’re racing out the door with backpacks that suddenly look too small for how big they’ve gotten.

These elementary years are a different kind of fleeting.
Not the newborn blur,
not the toddler whirlwind—
but the slow, steady letting go that you don’t notice until you do.

The missing teeth.
The scraped knees.
The way they still reach for your hand… but only sometimes.
Their laugh—louder now, but still soft when they’re sleepy.
Their personalities blooming right in front of you.

This stage deserves to be remembered just as much as the first.
Because childhood doesn’t end all at once…
it slips away in little pieces.

These are the moments you’ll look back on and think,
“That was us. That was our season.”

If your babies are suddenly not so little anymore,

I know these days are a blur.
The late-night feeds, the tiny stretches, the soft breaths against your chest.
Everyone tells you “it goes by fast,” but no one prepares you for how fast.

That’s why newborn photos matter.

A close to my heart set of clients are moving! While I'm excited for them, it's definitely bitter sweet when you get to call your clients, "friends".
I got to meet this sweet family at a mini 3 years ago. I have had so much fun working with and getting to know them over these past years.

So we had to think of something fun. We painted the first piece of artwork to be displayed on their very own home. CONGRATULATIONS 🎊 to you, my friends. I'm so very proud.
