I visited a new cafe in San Leandro today, a local bakery with a spot in the library. I've supported them from the start and was excited to try their new venture. But, when I brought my reusable coffee mug, they refused it saying they "don't do that" without any explanation. It was disappointing to see them not embracing eco-friendly practices. When did reducing paper cup waste become a bad thing?
