My first attempt at crumpets, a cross between a pancake and an English muffin, and boy howdy were they good - and sooo easy!
Slap on some butter 🧈 and plenty of 🍓 strawberry jam, then brew up a cup of black tea and for a satisfying breakfast.
The recipe is sourced from Sunset Magazine 1977 Cookbook of Breads that was handed down from my mother.💜💜💜
