Mayor London Breed 倫敦.布里德 recently stated "San Francisco is a world-class entertainment city and we are fortunate to have a diverse entertainment and nightlife culture -- we can’t let COVID take that away from us."
BUT there has been NO support for the small business music venues of the city that are the FIRST TO CLOSE and LAST TO OPEN. We’ve tried to pivot with merch sales, bar sales, and live streaming but there really are no viable revenue options for us to sustain the forced closures. Independent venues in SF remain shuttered with no open date in sight, and may never open again without additional financial assistance.
We need your help- write and or call your supervisors and let them know what live music and the venues of SF mean to you.

Seen on our : The Swedish American Hall at 2168-2174 Market Street, no. 267. Built in 1907 for the Swedish Society of San Francisco, the Hall was designed by master architect August Nordin. The Society still owns the building today, and it continues to serve as a cultural center for the Swedish American community and is significant for its cultural history and chalet-inspired architectural design.⠀
⠀
The building is also home to Cafe Du Nord, which in 1908 began its operations in the basement shortly after the debut of the Hall. Having prospered for over 110 years, the club has maintained its intimate mood of a speakeasy with rich, dark colors. Both the Swedish American Hall and Café Du Nord are celebrated and esteemed music and event venues who have been forced to close during these difficult pandemic months. They have joined other independent venues in encouraging people to voice their support for the Restart Act and the Save Our Stages Act. ⠀
⠀
Swedish American and Café Du Nord have also been recently exploring safety and risk awareness for small gatherings on their blog, and are welcoming feedback. Check out the posts here (

US & Canadian Tour postponed due to Coronavirus / Covid19.
It should come as no surprise that our upcoming March and April concerts in the US and Canada have to be postponed due to the outbreak of the coronavirus/covid19. We are currently trying to reschedule all the concerts and should have news on this very soon.
We can’t freaking wait to play concerts, hug and high five you all again. Sending you and your beloved ones all of our love. Let’s all stay calm and optimistic. This is a perfect occasion to be creative, think beautiful thoughts and share them with the ones you love ❤️
Please help flatten the curve and the spread of the virus. Stay at home as much as you can, practise social distancing and wash your hands diligently and often. Please read this article from Washington Post (
https://www.washingtonpost.com/graphics/2020/world/corona-simulator) if you haven’t already.
Stay smart, healthy & optimistic!
