Some of you may already know, Everywhen in the Woods just happened. If you were there, you get it. For everyone else, I wanted to share why it was such a rich experience for me.
In all honesty, I arrived with a heavy heart, carrying some sudden and stressful life changes. Almost immediately and spontaneously, Camp Rebel formed - campmates joining forces to build our own special place with real team spirit and humor. And the music that night, omg!! So good!! My dancing partner in crime Kc croW and I danced for like six hours straight.
Out of nowhere, Saturday am hit me pretty hard. On my way from the bathroom I found angels from HeartSong Sanctuary Collective who deeply supported me through an off-morning. And then after, dear friends were right there to hold the shadow working space alongside me. Then next, the woods held space for old feelings that needed to move and be tended to. Everything was in place to hold me.
These spaces are so essential. They provide us a chance to step outside the usual constraints of modern life, where flow is unblocked and synchronicity has room to happen, as we continue to come home to deeper community roots. It’s a revolution, honestly. That’s exactly what this was to me. A beautiful one.
It's rare to find a melting pot quite like this ~ burners, bass heads, conscious dancers, musicians, artists, counter culturers, (and more!) - sharing one dance floor, one neighborhood, one weekend.
Everywhen Project is bringing this melting pot to our community. Over two hundred of us were there, and every single one of us could feel the potential. We all said it, another 100 people and it would’ve been absolutely electric. If this project comes back, I truly hope our community shows up with a hell yes. These spaces only exist if we show up for them.
Thank you for this one. 🎶🦄🔥🐝✨
