June 6 is Ikebana Day! 🌿 Ikebana Day was established by the Japan Ikebana Art Association in 2020, inspired by the traditional Japanese belief that the 6th day of the 6th month is an auspicious time to begin learning a traditional art.

Since then, Ikebana practitioners and enthusiasts around the world have celebrated this special day by honoring the beauty, creativity, and mindfulness of Japanese flower arrangement.

This year’s featured flower is Agapanthus, admired for its graceful lines and elegant blooms.

Happy Ikebana Day to everyone who finds joy and inspiration through flowers!
