When your mom is a clown, and you find a picture of her face paints and suddenly remember that she hasn't painted you in awhile. After I painted Alastair's cheek, he said "paint my two faces!" and held his other cheek. Then he wanted me to paint his feet too.

I've been on clown maternity leave as I had my second baby boy earlier this month. He's absolutely wonderful! I'll be returning to clowning the middle of January, but in the meantime if you contact me I can refer you to another great clown. I hope everyone is having a wonderful holiday season.

My niece Dotsy and I had a great time entertaining at a birthday party today for two sisters, turning 3 and 5. The kids loved our magic and puppet show, games, and balloon animals.

This morning I got to do face painting at the harvest festival at the preschool where I used to be a teacher. It was so much fun! I brought my baby with me.

Yesterday was a busy day clowning around, but so much fun! I entertained at an event for the community at the Coronado fire station, a girl's sixth birthday party, and a girl's first birthday party and baptism celebration. The kids all had a wonderful time.

I taught my niece how to become a clown five and a half years ago, and she's been clowning around with me ever since. Her clown name is Dotsy. She has been helping me even more lately, which has been so much fun. Last weekend she entertained with me at a first birthday party. We love making kids happy as clowns!
