Colors, beauty, movement... these elements matter when putting together a tabletop! When designing (I know this may sound silly but...) I like to imagine an enchanted tabletop, if every item on the table came to life (like in beauty and the beast).

Would they all get along, would they have exciting conversations, are they in conversation now?! Do they compliment each other?! Would they all be able to get along at the dinner party?! Yesss?! Then magnifique!

If not- if one item is too loud, too quiet, or just not a perfect fit - remove it from the table and replace it with something that is. It would be an uncomfortable situation for that fork to be in anyway! 😉 right?!
