On May 31st, I joined the loved ones of those who chose to donate their bodies to the UCSD Whole Body Donation. The service was beautiful. Some of the stories live in my heart now. Stories like the one of the undergraduate who was privileged to learn from the body of a woman who shared the same scars as her mother.
