We start the day by welcoming the latest additions to Team Zambia for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, the Men's 4x400m Relay Team in athletics.

The athletics team, comprising Muzala Samukonga, Kennedy Luchembe, Patrick Nyambe, and David Mulenga, has qualified for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games as one of the top-ranked 16 relay teams in the world.

Following the close of the qualification period, which ended on Sunday 30th June 2024, the quartet's time of 2:59.12, which won them gold at the Accra 2023 African Games, sends them to Paris!

Congratulations to the athletics team, and we officially welcome them to Team Zambia for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.

SAMUKONGA anchos ZAMBIA 4x400m to BRONZE 2024 African Championships

Muzala Samukonga helped Zambia to a 4x400m bronze medal at the 2024 CAA African Championships in Cameroon this past week.

The now experienced quartet of Patrick Nyambe, Kennedy Luchembe, David Mulenga and Muzala Samukonga has combined for two medal finishes in championships in 2024 with a gold medal performance Bach in March at the African Games. The team has been trading punches with heavy hitters Botswana, Nigeria and South Africa all season long. Up next will be the Paris Olympics, the biggest test of their collective careers.

Team Zambia men’s and woman’s 4x400m stretched its legs against all the teams will see in Paros2024. The men hane secured the #16 spot for the Olympic Games 4x400m thanks to a by perfromance 2:59.12 which saw them obliterate their National Record by 5 seconds 😳😳 at the 2024 African Games back in March….unheard of…

The biggest perk of this job is that we get to travel the globe. Some of us go to compete others go to make sure business runs smoothly.
