Our Story

Stephany Knierim, Owner & CEO, founded SK Event Specialists in 2011, but her experience in the event planning industry started long before then. Stephany began her planning career in the corporate sector where she worked with destination management companies, planned large corporate events and retreats, and organized political fundraisers. When she discovered her passion for weddings and all of the joyful romance that surround them, she was inspired to apply her organizational and planning skills to wedding planning.
