Operating as usual
I love events because there’s never a dull moment. I love events for the ebbs and flows.
One minute I can be negotiating hotel contracts. The next minute deciding on whether or not the color of a candy wrapper is in alignment with branding.
It’s a beautiful thing. And I’m excited for this upcoming leadership retreat for where moms from almost every state will join.
Just putting in those final finishing touches.

This year had been very interesting. It went different then planned, and that’s okay.
I prayed for my business to grow, and in turn I was presented with an opportunity to work for a non-profit that I stand behind ✨
It’s been such a blessing to serve as an events coordinator there for the last 6 months.
I’m not sure what the future holds and I’m not giving up in my business, it just looks a little different right now.
I still an very passionate about events, communication and deep connection. The only difference is I get to exercise my gifts to serve through this ministry.
The best part is, I still get to support women and moms [email protected] walks of life. My personal mission is still aligned with what I’m doing and who I get to be.
I learned this year that not everyone will accept and understand your decisions and that’s okay. We get to do what makes sense and works for us. We get to choose.
This year has been such a gift with all it’s ups and downs. My prayer for you is that you feel blessed today and every day. That you celebrate all of who you are becoming in the process of life. Continue to give yourself grace and love hard. You are worthy and you are amazing.

I struggle. Do you?
✨ I struggle with consistency, and I show up as best as I can, as often as I can.
✨ I struggle with the best way to blend my personal and professional life, and I try to make it work everyday.
✨ I struggle getting up at 330am to go to the gym, and I still go get my workout on.
✨ I struggle with letting my old self go, and I work every day to become a better woman.
I struggle. I struggle. I struggle.
And, I keep going.
That last sentence is what has kept me moving forward all these years.
Choosing to keep going and learning not to worry about what anyone else thinks can be challenging, but it is possible.
Embracing the both/and of life has been so freeing for me.
I’ve experienced so much change in the last year. I’ve been in places I never thought I’d be, and I can look at every situation through a positive lens.
One of my mantras this year is this…looking back I can see how it’s helped me set boundaries, make decisions faster and be at peace with where I am.
“Before I say yes to anything, I will pray until I have peace. If I don’t have peace and opportunities pass me by, they weren’t meant for me.”

It feels good to be seen and heard 🥰
In the past, I’d be hesitant to share my journey during a coaching program or course.
I’d usually share the results, but was afraid to share what I was going through, when I was going through it. Which can often times be the most powerful part of the process! 💥
Thoughts like,
✨ What will people think?
✨ Am I showing off?
✨ Is this really me?
✨ Does anyone even care?
✨ What am I really doing this for?
...all flood my mind. Can you relate? 🙋🏻♀️
These questions are all associated with self-worth, being enough and imposter syndrome.
It’s all real. None of us are exempt. It’s how prepare and respond to these negative thoughts that set us apart.
All of the coaches I’ve worked with have been amazing. 😙
They’ve asked the right questions, gave me the space to dig deeper, and gave the verbal permission I needed, yet always had, to seek clarity, take care of myself and live on my own terms, to fully feel and lean into my business and what success means to me.
I believe it’s important to share our journey, the joyful cry’s 😂 and the ugly cry’s 😭, not just the results.
Results are always exciting to measure, but in the struggle is where we grow.
I’m sharing this because I know you, yes you amazing human reading until the end, have something special to offer this world.
**You have a message to be heard, you are worthy to be seen, and a movement to lead.**
