I cannot say enough good things! We booked with Major Events & Catering in San Diego, kind of last minute, and they were so easy to work with and great at communicating with us. Bil was very professional, and made our experience seamless! Not to mention, the food and in-person service was INCREDIBLE! Seriously the nicest people, and all of the guests at our party couldn't stop talking about how good the food was! We catered via sushi chef and it was such a fun experience. Absolutely would recommend and plan on booking with them again in the future!

Bil and his crew catered our daughter's wedding recently and choosing Major Events was one of the best and easiest decisions we made. Bil's food is creative, fresh, and impressive. We chose Major Events because we wanted our guests to have an excellent meal that was expertly prepared, not ordinary food that is covered in heavy sauces to disguise its blandness.

Months later our guests still comment to us how amazing the food
was.

We also appreciated the care that Bil and his crew took of our home and property. The next morning, in the light of day, there was almost no indication that anyone had been here from a catering standpoint. Everything was completely cleaned up.
As we went through the planning process of the wedding we realized the value of having a caterer who is responsive and communicative. While we would wait days to get a response from some of our vendors, with Bil it was often a matter of minutes or hours. He would check in regularly and always had an encouraging word. He also offered helpful tips here and there that reassured us that nothing would be overlooked. That was even more appreciated since it was at our home and there are an endless number of moving parts.

Before the event Bil and Erica came out for a final walk through and made sure everything was in place.
Erica was kind and encouraging, and knowing that she was going to be there the day of to oversee the set up and service was an added comfort.

If I could offer one piece of advice to anyone planning an event, especially a wedding, it would be the importance of hiring a caterer who not only serves great food, but is also able to manage the flow of the event and coordinate with the other vendors. Bil offered us help with layout, timing, serving and overall flow, and the other vendors appreciated him because he is so fun and easy to work with.

Weddings are coming back!!!
This was a 30 guest wedding that included a conga line, flash mob dance to welcome the new couple, beer tap truck, photo booth and a ton of food and desserts!

Huge thanks to our newest day-of-coordinator, Erica, for crushing it.
Major Events now has the capacity to do 2+ full service weddings/ events every Saturday!!! Bring em on!!

After looking at Yelp reviews for the wedding catering, we stopped on Bill Major. I started communicating with him about the menu and it was the best experience ever to work with him. Once we finalized the menu we liked, I thought to reach out to him about the furniture for our venue. Again, he quickly responded and provided all the info I needed. Lastly, we desperately needed the day of coordinator and Bill had just the right person for us, Erica!
Erica was so great to work with. These people really made our wedding preparation experience so pleasant and stress free. I would recommend them to all my friends and hopefully we can work with them in the future again.
Erica was super responsive, sweet and knowledgeable. She handled the day of coordination like a BOSS!
The food, furniture set up, service and so much more were just over the top!

I initially booked with a different caterer many weeks prior, who abruptly cancelled on me only a week before to my event. That was when Bill came in and literally saved my event by agreeing to cater for us. From the first call, to text messages and email communications with Bill, he was always so kind, reassuring that all would go well, and super communicative. When the food items arrived, the gentleman who delivered the food kindly offered to help us with the food set up -- which was incredibly helpful on an already busy morning. On top of that, the food was AMAZING! It was the highlight of the event and all of my guests raved about it.

Bill and his team are one of a kind and I will never forget his teams' kindness and the fact that Bill agreed to cater my event on such short notice. You will not regret choosing Major Events & Catering for your next event. I cant wait for our next event together!!
