Here at Hitec Commercial Drone Services., our fleet is affectionately named after Constellations. Adding to the fleet, I'd like to Introduce Auriga

Aruiga (or the Charioteer) nicknamed Ari.

Auriga was the son of Athena, and he was the charioteer of gods. He was skilled and created in the image of Sun God’s chariot. He also invented the four-horse chariot.

Ari already has the dual sensor, and dual operator setup, and can carry our IR and Cine sensors/camera. Sporting Crystal Sky monitors and a wireless downlink system Ari increases the capabilities of HCDS.

The battle for the lead is real, I just hit 4th gear and we are "rolling coal" getting the work done before DDC23 in Denver next week.

Latest update is we are nearly 2x 2nd place in points, and I have no more work to do (scheduled) until everyone crosses the finish line next week. Fingers crossed!

Pano, this one is showing a real problem... This is a project that has run into trouble. First, out of money. Next, higher than the permit allowed, add in longer than the permit was valid for, and add in all the site violations regarding security, visibility, w**d and storm water runoff control. In Point Loma, this one is getting more and more expensive by the minute. The neighbors are filing suit, and some folks are really upset about losing their view.

BIG NEWS:

The FAA's Remote Identification (RID) rule takes effect on September 16, 2023. The rule requires all drones that require registration to have remote ID capabilities. This includes drones used for business, public safety, or recreational purposes.

The FAA published its final rule on remote identification of drones in April 2021.

The effective date for drone manufacturers was pushed back from September 16, 2022 to December 16, 2022.

EDITORIAL NOTE: At this time, no one is certain. So.... lots of issues with supply & cost of RID modules. FAA was informed these modules would be $50, and they are now at $200 and backordered. Getting compliance is virtually impossible for 85% of the operating professionals.
