Maternity session part I:

I am about to enter my 37th week of pregnancy and before she comes, I needed to get REAL with you.

I entered this pregnancy surprised. I found out I was due in May, a month I was fully booked for weddings.

I was SCARED to tell my couples. I thought they would be disappointed in me, upset with me, fire me amongst so many other negative thoughts about my business.

INSTEAD every single one of them supported me. They were happy for me. They encouraged me, check in on me. I never thought that as a woman, in business, with a family, that I would receive such loving support. I was sooo wrong.

You all gave me the confidence I needed to know, this is natural, this is beautiful and above ALL this doesn’t stop me from continuing to do what I love.

In fact, once I was honest about this and where I’d be in May, I booked more business than I thought I ever would this early in the year.

So THANK YOU for supporting this journey of mine.

Dear Bride, you look so relaxed. You must’ve hired a wedding planner.


Truth be told my friends we’re getting so many last minute requests for couples needing coordination and planning services. We are BOOKED for 2022 for all prime weekend dates. Due to the highly impacted year, we’re not accepting new 2023 couples until July.

Please stop waiting until the last minute to start planning your wedding. You’ll be stressed when you should be having fun.

I hope everyone had a beautiful Easter weekend. Ours was spent up in Santa Ynez and getting our outdoor deck ready for summer and the next month~ nesting for baby #2. 🐣

Somehow my daughter, Frankie, ended up with three Easter baskets, I’m not sure how that escalated so quickly 😂.

Then it’s rehearsal day for Kimberly and Ryan! Tomorrow we kick off our first spring wedding and it’s a beautiful Sunny San Diego weather weekend ahead.

Vow books. The simplest addition to your wedding that makes a BIG statement. These are so impactful and make for an amazing heirloom you can hold onto forever.

My vows are written on a piece of paper stuffed in a yellow pineapple vase. I told myself I’d rewrite them in a keepsake like these but still haven’t. Maybe this anniversary I will.

The beautiful Eve on her wedding day.

I worked with Eve and Charity on their wedding last fall and had so much fun planning with them. When working with couples for over a year you really get to know them, their personalities, their dynamic.

Eve is a true surfer at heart. Always in the water and super laid back, casually dressed, not really the makeup type.

When I saw her on her wedding day I starting tearing up. Dressed to the 9’s and all dolled up was something I’ve never seen of her. But there she was, still all of Eve underneath it all.

Peak performance. We won’t settle for less.
We are getting unrealistic requests from people for extremely last minute coordination and planning services that we simply cannot accommodate.

We simply cannot work twice as much for less. We simply will not provide services more than we are contracted for. We cannot undo planning mistakes that have been created for months before we step in.

And we will not compromise our exceptional reputation and integrity of a business we have build for nearly a decade just to ‘book’ something last minute.

A message to couples planning: we are 90% booked for 2022 and so is our wedding vendor industry. PLEASE, I BEG YOU, give yourself time and plan accordingly. We want to make sure you are not stressed during the planning process. We want to help. But we also need to start setting realistic expectations moving forward.

Last year my husband and friends threw me a micro -covid friendly - surprise birthday party.
They literally scared the crap out of me when I answered my front door and confetti was being tossed in my face.

I thought I was being robbed. I was so confused. Then so excited to just gather again.

But seriously dish soap and a gentle bristle brush works wonders on cleaning your rings!

Pro tip: be sure to take your rings in every 6 months to your jeweler for a good deep cleaning and gem inspection.
