When you book Once Upon a Party, you’re not just paying for someone to pour drinks — you’re paying for nearly 10 years of experience, $1M liquor liability insurance, event day insurance, hours of custom menu planning, shopping, setup, pickup, and premium customer service, everything it takes to make your event unforgettable.
Clients often say, “Only 80 of 120 guests will drink,” but the truth is , if your caterer only provides water, tea, and lemonade, and the bar is stocked with Coke, Sprite, cranberry juice, and pineapple juice, guests are coming to the bar.
And we never turn anyone away.
You’re really supplying beverages for everyone, and we plan accordingly.
Another important note:
When we recommend adding a second bartender, it’s not to upsell you — it’s to maintain the level of service your guests deserve. 100+ guests with one bartender = long lines, slow service, and unhappy guests —and that reflects on us, not you.
Going forward, we will only accept events that follow our professional recommendations.
With inflation rising (even eggs are $8!), every cost has increased and our industry isn’t immune.
