It was a privilege to embellish this design for sweet Chloe! Everything from her Headpiece down to her shoes was embellished with love and care by our team! Beads, sequins, stones, and more were lovingly placed all over this ensemble.
As our time with the Court of Rooted Legacies comes to an end we’s like to spotlight our court members. Chloe Janet Zavala is honored to serve as the Princess of Celebrated Sports Traditions on the 80th Annual Floresville Peanut Festival Royal Court of Rooted Legacies.
Chloe is the proud daughter of Clarissa Stewart and John and Destiny Dunn. She is sister to Lily, Hailey, Kylie, and Elena. Chloe is the granddaughter of Margarite Diaz, Jay and LexAnn Dunn, and Manuel and Mary Stewart, all of Floresville. Chloe is proud of her Floresville roots as her family have all been deeply rooted within our beloved hometown for generations.
Chloe is part of a family with a long history within the Peanut Festival. Her great-aunt Betty Freasier is serving her second term as President of the FPFA. Cousins-Jennifer Kincaid, Georgia Dunn-Couhig, and Kyle Dunn proudly serve as members of the board. Additionally, Chloe’s cousins- Georgia, Cara, Cullen, and Myra have all served on the Royal or Children’s Court.
Chloe is a hardworking graduate of Floresville High School where she was active in many organizations. She served two terms as Treasurer for the class of 2025 and was involved with Link Crew as well as the FHS Chapter of TAFE. Additionally, Chloe previously served as the Spirit of FHS as TJ the Tiger. Recently, Chloe has had the amazing opportunity to visit and assist in classes at Floresville South Elementary as a student aide.
Chloe would like to show her appreciation to her dear friend and es**rt, Jacob Silva, for always supporting her and standing alongside her as her prince. She would also like to thank his family for their great support throughout this memorable and exciting journey.
Chloe would like to thank the following individuals for making her dreams come true by bringing her design to life: Designer-Richelle Saur, Seamstress-Mechiel Whitmore, Beaders-Georgia Dunn-Couhigand Jordan Waddle, Assistants-Julie Dillard and Elisabeth and Clara Kotzur.
Additionally, Chloe would like to thank her great-aunt Betty for all her love and support. Without whom, this would not have been possible. Lastly, Chloe would like to thank the FPFA for this opportunity and for all their hard work for our community.
