What an awesome tango trip!

Oklahoma is full of amazing art, beautiful places, and wonderful tango people.

Thank you, Carmen Cruz Feldman, for inviting us and giving us the opportunity to be part of this incredible experience.

A special thank you to Hazel Lopez for putting together such a wonderful event, and an extra-special thank you to Maria Olivera for the world-class tango training. It was truly an incredible experience, and we learned so much!

We are grateful for the beautiful memories, the dancing, the learning, and the wonderful people we met along the way.

Already looking forward to the next one!

Tango is a journey, and we are better together!

What an amazing tango training experience!

We took a little break from our classes and enjoyed a wonderful meal at an amazing place called Tellers. It was the perfect opportunity to relax, recharge, and enjoy some great food before getting back to our tango training.

I also took a short video to capture a little bit of the experience.

Tango, learning, good food, and wonderful memories — what more could we ask for?

We’re back from Oklahoma!

Roy and I had a wonderful and inspiring time completing our professional tango training. We’re excited to bring back what we learned and share it with all of you on the dance floor!

While we were there, we also took the opportunity to visit the Oklahoma City National Memorial and pay our respects to the victims of the Oklahoma City bombing. It was a very moving and meaningful experience.

I took a short video of the memorial and wanted to share a glimpse of this beautiful and peaceful place with you.

We’re grateful for the experience, the learning, and the memories we brought home with us.

Now… back to tango!

mportant Update:
San Antonio Tango Festival 2026

Dear Tango Dancers,

The San Antonio Tango Festival has been a dream of mine since I founded Tango In San Antonio in 1999. Bringing our tango community together and sharing our passion for Argentine Tango has always been a labor of love. Unfortunately, sometimes unexpected life events require our full attention.

It is with great regret that we inform you that the San Antonio Tango Festival, originally scheduled for October 15–18, 2026, has been postponed until 2027 due to personal and family circumstances that require our complete focus at this time.

We understand that this is more than just a change in schedule. Many of you have already set aside time, made travel plans, and were looking forward to sharing this special experience with us. We recognize how disappointing this news may be, and we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

This decision was not made lightly. We explored every possible option before arriving at this difficult conclusion, and we are deeply aware of the impact it has on everyone involved, including our dancers, instructors, volunteers, and supporters.

Our immediate priority is to ensure that the next steps are handled clearly and smoothly. All registered attendees will receive a full refund for their San Antonio Tango Festival registration.

If you made hotel reservations, please contact the hotel directly to cancel your booking:

Hyatt Place San Antonio/Riverwalk
601 S. St. Mary's St
San Antonio, TX 78205
(210) 227-6854

No action is required on your part regarding your festival registration unless otherwise communicated.

If you have any questions or need assistance, please contact us at 210-413-4671. Text messages are preferred, and our team will be happy to assist you.

We are grateful for your understanding, support, and continued trust. We look forward to welcoming you back to an even stronger and more memorable San Antonio Tango Festival in 2027.

With sincere appreciation,
Ángela Ávila and SATF Team
San Antonio Tango Festival (SATF)

We will see you again in 2027.

POSTPONE: Sunday GUIDED Practica for Professional Growth

We will see you next Month!

Professional Growth 🕺
We will be out this weekend working on our professional growth—continuing the journey of improving our skills, knowledge, technique, and dance.

As professional dancers and teachers, we believe professional growth is a continuous process. There is always something new to learn, refine, and bring back to our students and tango community.

We look forward to sharing what we learn and continuing to grow together.

Keep learning. Keep growing. Keep dancing.
