I kind of fell in to being a wedding coordinator when a good friend asked me to help her in 2017 but man did I fall in love with it. Honestly the magic of watching two people commit themselves to each other never gets old. I pride myself in being detailed focused, kind, compassionate, able to de-escalate any stressful situation while being the calm voice every bride needs. POV: your “cool job” is making sure someone else gets to have the best day of their life.

There’s so much that happens behind the scenes on a wedding day. Fixing the dress, holding the bouquet, keeping everyone on time, answering questions and handling little problems before the couple ever even knows about them.

That’s honestly one of my favorite parts of this job.

The goal is always the same: you get to enjoy your wedding day, and we take care of the rest.

While you’re soaking in every moment, I’m behind the scenes making sure the timeline stays on track, vendors know where to be, décor is just right, little problems are handled before you ever know about them, and all those tiny details you spent months planning actually come together.

A few ways I help keep wedding days stress-free:

✅Build a detailed timeline so everyone knows exactly where they need to be
✅Communicate with vendors so you don’t have to
✅Handle last-minute changes and unexpected hiccups
✅Keep photos, ceremony, dinner & reception events moving on time
✅Make sure your décor and personal details are set exactly how you envisioned
✅Be the person everyone comes to with questions — instead of you

We all love the look of taper candles… but cleaning them takes FOREVER. 😅

And it’s not just the cleaning. You have to store the glassware, buy the actual candles, transport everything, set it all up, and then tear it all down within that 1-hour cleanup window.

It all adds up FAST.

This is why renting taper candles can end up costing almost the same as purchasing them . You’re not just paying for the candles and glassware. You’re paying for all the work that comes with them.

One thing about me: I am going to have a solution in my emergency kit.

This suction hook is one of those little things you do not think about until wedding morning, when the bride has the perfect mirror or window for dress photos, but nowhere to hang the dress.

I keep one on hand so we can create that beautiful getting ready moment without scrambling for a door hook, ladder, or random place to hang it.

Because a wedding planner’s job is not just the big things. It is having the tiny fixes ready before they become a problem.

A lot of couples tell me they do not think they need a rehearsal. They have lots of reasons- their wedding party have been in a lot of weddings, their venue isn’t available, it’s really not that hard..

But rehearsals take away so many of the little jitters: where to stand, when to walk, how to hand off the bride, and what everyone is supposed to do once they are up front. Then on wedding day, you are not thinking through the logistics. you are fully present for the moment.

A smoother ceremony always starts with a practice run. I will always, always, always recommend a rehearsal, and all of our packages include a coordinator to run your rehearsal.
