Alright everyone, THIS THURSDAY at Wetmore Beach House, its going to be the first 100% standalone Renegade Entertainment & Sound event, and our biggest one yet!!
From 6pm all the way till 2am, we will have the whole team in the house, mixing up your favorite jams, and running karaoke just the way you like it!
Details are as follows-
Any and all active San Antonio DJs and KJs are welcomed and encouraged to come out, as this is a networking event, celebrating all of us! Any active San Antonio KJs and DJs will get a free raffle ticket!
But! This isn't JUST for KJs and DJs! Everyone is absolutely welcome. So come meet and hang out with your favorites!
Applications to join the Renegade team are being accepted at the event as well, with Wolf (owner) and KJ Utopia (operations manager) ready to conduct on-the-spot interviews, and provide "tours" of what we do. So if you want to jump in, that's the perfect time! We are always hiring!
The karaoke contest will have 3 winners (1st, 2nd & 3rd place), and will be exclusively judged by 3 judges. No crowd-voting! We want to keep it as fair as possible.
With that being said, ANYONE can participate in the contest! Customers, bar staff, KJs, DJs, musicians, vendors, anyone! Let's make it big! 🤘
All participants MUST sign their name/stage name at the DJ booth in order to be considered a contestant! All others will be excluded and counted as if they are only wanting to sing for regular karaoke, so be sure to sign in if you want to win!
1st place will recieve $300, plus the fancy (and surprisingly heavy) carved stone trophy
2nd place will recieve $150
3rd place will recieve $50
The raffle rules are simple-
$5 = 1 ticket
10 = 3 tickets
20 = 8 tickets
The winner of the raffle will recieve $250
There are no restrictions on the amount of tickets you can buy.....though, it would defeat the purpose a bit to buy $250 worth of tickets just to win $250, so purchase responsibly!
The raffle winner will be announced at 10pm
The karaoke contest OFFICIALLY STARTS at 9pm (that means no more warm-up songs after that time), and ends at midnight (subject to change, depending on the amount of participants), with all winners announced and awarded at that time.
After the contest, its a total karaoke free-for-all, and we're gonna get weird 😎🤣🤘
So EVERYONE please come out and celebrate our San Antonio DJs and KJs who work their butts off every day to bring y'all great shows all over our city!
