When people say someone is an “OG of pageantry,” they’re talking about the rich history of the industry. Modern pageantry in the United States is often traced back to Miss America, which began in 1921 as a competition for young women and helped pave the way for the many divisions and systems we see today.

Courtney embodies that pageant spirit with grace, heart, and authenticity. From the moment she stepped onto the stage, she captured the hearts of everyone around her. Her kindness, confidence, and dedication make her a true standout, and I am so excited to watch her represent Utah on the national stage.

It’s also especially meaningful to have Courtney as part of the beginning of Utah America’s United States history. As we build this incredible state program, she will forever be part of its foundation and legacy.

Heidie is not only a dedicated firefighter, but also a loving wife and devoted mother who serves her family and community with passion and heart. Her strength, leadership, and commitment make her an outstanding representative for Utah.
