On Tuesday, March 25th, step into a 1930s radio studio, where words meet sound, art meets chaos, and stories crackle to life. For one night only, transforms into a vintage broadcast, featuring live storytellers, poets, musicians, and foley artists conjuring entire worlds with handcrafted sound effects—rain-soaked streets, ghostly whispers, footsteps before the big reveal…

🎉 Happy Birthday, Jakob! 🎉

I was talking to Nate recently, and I realized something—the first time I met you was at Boxcar Studios for a the Voxcar poetry night. It’s funny, because I didn’t connect the person I saw on stage that night with the Jakob I know now until just a couple of weeks ago.

I remember it vividly—wild hair, a huge shirt that didn’t quite fit, and an even wilder story tumbling out of you. There was wonder in your eyes, an effortless confidence, and a magnetic presence that drew everyone in.

My first thought? Wow, I wonder what kind of life that kid is living. And yes, the word kid was in my head—because, like Peter Pan, you seem ageless. But beneath that youthful glow, I also felt a pang of envy. Envy for a life that looked so carefree, so authentic—without the barriers I had built in my own.

Paisley once told me I reminded her of an older version of you, Jakob. My response? No way. I was never nearly as cool as Jakob.

They say being someone’s friend means witnessing a thousand funerals—but with you, it was also like experiencing several first meetings.

✨ Happy Birthday, Nate! ✨

There are few people who truly embody the spirit of adventure—the kind of person who can take any idea and turn it into reality, all while leading with a pure heart full of acceptance and empathy. Somehow, against all odds, someone 20 years younger than me has become one of my best friends in life, and that someone is Nate.

If you know Nate, you know he’s got a wild story to tell—one filled with unexpected twists, a contagious zest for life, and a new idea he’s excited about every day. Now, with most people, it’s all talk. They share their dreams, their grand visions, but you never really see them come to life. With Nate, it’s the opposite. Sure, you’ll hear the tale, but soon enough, you’re living the adventure.

You’ll be chatting about something that would be cool to see or do, and within a day—sometimes an hour, or even minutes—he’s got it figured out, and you’re right there in the middle of it. And the best part? No matter what you’re doing, even if it’s cleaning out a latrine, you’ve got a smile stretching ear to ear—because Nate is just that kind of guy. Enchanting, charming, and damn fun.

Of course, it’s not all sunshine and rainbows. Nate has a sensitive heart; he feels with his whole soul and wrestles with the same insecurities, introspections, and questions we all do. But that’s what makes him an even better friend—because when you’re trudging through the mud of life, feeling like the color has drained from the world, he’s got an understanding ear and a story to match.

You can tell someone really knows Nate when we talk good about him behind his back and everyone’s smiling. And even though you literally have a twin, my friend, they definitely broke the mold when the Aquarian gods made you.

Life would be so much darker, more dreary, and far less full of wonder without you. Here’s to many more heists to come! 🎉
