Being an artist, I found is all about constant transformation and the belief in yourself. Coming to a new city is exciting, but it is also challenging.

My favorite book is Jitterbug Perfume by Tom Robbins, and the character that resonated with me the most was the God Pan. He lives a beautiful life of pleasure with woodland nymphs, and serenades everyone with the mystical sounds of his pan flute.. but is only immortal as long as people believe in him.

I love believing in a character like Pan. Even though he was losing his power, he really was real. That to me is beautiful. It just takes one person to keep his music playing.

I loved my goat nephew, Lyle, so much especially because he made my amazing sister so incredibly happy. I am grateful that I was able to FaceTime him yesterday to tell him how much I love him and how special he was to our family. He was one of a kind, super sweet, sociable, and goofy. Lyle is one of three brothers; Ebb, of whom we lost last year, and Floyd who was his best friend and teeter totter partner, and still with us today carrying Lyle's memory with him.

When I was sad during the rough times after 2020.. and by myself as I still am today, I would goat sit and visit Lyle. He always lifted my spirits!!!

It's hard to imagine a world without him. He was a beautiful gift to our family, and we are better because he entered our lives. Lyle is loved and we miss him dearly.

Throughout last summer I had such a blast playing music for awesome folks, and it's super exciting to be back in 2024 to be a part of this momentous occasion! It means a lot to raise a toast to a place that I love, which really feels like Salem's own "Cheers" ✨
