Still one of my favorite welcome signs of last summer 🌷💕

C&M’s welcome sign was designed with intention and function — from using the fonts from her stunning invites with Priscilla | Watercolor Wedding Invitations, to making sure the ever-so-talented Blush & Bloom Floral Design had the measurements to plan florals in advance, to creating a setup that allows the sign to move easily as the evening continued throughout multiple spaces — no detail was overlooked!

Welcome signs are a nonnegotiable in my eyes — they help guide guests in the right direction (especially at a busy hotel!) and are the very first detail that greets everyone as they arrive at the wonderful evening you’ve planned!

If you’ve been here for a while, you know that ya girl lovesss a place card menu ✨

They are a gentle “non-negotiable” in my eyes, as they instantly elevate an entire tablescape and the guest experience!

For O&M, we personalized each menu with the guest’s name, so they knew exactly where to sit, and added their selected entree and allergies, for dinner service ease.

Not having to remember the entree you selected weeks prior or playing musical chairs when you arrive to the table? That’s the gift of planning ahead for your guests…it’s the little things we think about, so you don’t have to!

Plus, pairing them with their gold charger and the most beautiful florals and candles took it to a whole different level!

Blending function with design? A small but mighty detail that made every guest feel considered and welcomed to the reception, and ready for a night full of celebrating a wonderful couple!

Every design choice we make is intentional, right down to the smallest detail — because when each element of your day is thoughtfully considered, the entire experience feels effortless and unforgettable…and we want nothing less for you 🥂

Where wanderlust meets “I Do” ✨

S&D’s love story and love for travel was our inspiration when designing the finer details. What may seem like an easy fete took a lot of brainstorming and planning to ensure that their story was shared in all the right places, while keeping every detail elegant and true to them.

The larger details may have been more obvious (we will never get over the luggage tag wall!), but the little details are what tied it all together throughout the celebration.

From the table numbers sharing places where their love story bloomed and travel-inspired cocktail names to the lighthouse wax seal for the dinner menus and including sweet Bentley on their bar sign and napkins (swipe to the end ⏩️) — every detail told the story of two people who fell in love with each other and the world around them.

Did you know that hand-lettering mirrors is how IBJ’s signage side first started? ✨

It’s so wild to look back at where it all began and see how far I’ve come over the last 5 years. What started with a calligraphy pen on my makeup-vanity-turned-desk in the corner of my living room and chalk markers on mirrors has grown into something I could have never imagined.

Different mediums, the best couples, and beautiful love stories, all turned into cohesive, personal details that live on forever through the beauty of photography.

S&J’s wedding is the perfect example of how we have evolved over time and can mix different mediums to create a unique look that doesn’t feel pieced together. Every detail perfectly complemented their story and the timeless elegance of the iconic Fairmont Copley Plaza!
