I personally am curating every wedding I work to be the best fit for my couples. I found this disco edit from World Cup and did a double flip on it.

The first part was the classic “apple bottom jeans” or “Low” to the cultured folk, and then following that was the exact edit that Madonna used at the halftime show for World Cup.

The bride loved soccer and so to add this little touch to her day was a big deal. I love surprising my couples like this.

I know that some of these songs are overplayed, overrated, and aren’t really viable in most settings. My response to that is, it just takes the right crowd and you need to play it accordingly.

If a song is “overplayed”, figure out a way to make it feel new and fresh. Mashing songs together is a great way to keep the familiarity of a song while giving it new life.

I’m sure I’ll get some people thinking “why play that old song” and my answer is this…

A little girl requested it, I knew the crowd would bite, and we had no do not plays. It’s our job to make MOST of the people happy.

I’m already aware I can’t keep em all happy….or can I?

First off, how dare this kid be this cool 😆

This kid has some insane party skills!! He told me I needed to go harder and call everyone out to the floor. Of course I HAD to make it work.

I wanna take him with me to every wedding!

Also don’t worry, his parents said “Cash Money is waiting for the next wedding to come help me rock 🤘”

The first part of the night is usually feeling out the crowd. Almost always unless I’m told differently, it’s going to be more classic recognizable songs.

To keep things fresh, I love mashing up the old songs with something the younger crowd can sing.

Hearing them scream “to the windowwwwwww… to the wall!” over a Frankie Valli tune is top tier partying 😆

This trend has been popping up a bit more at my events and honestly, I’m here for it.

I love how the next generation getting married has found ways to make their celebration more unique. It’s literally YOUR wedding, do the day how you want to.

The only thing I suggest is that if you get hats made, I need one immediately haha 🤣

I was asked if it was possible to take some voicemails and make an intro for a special dance. Our bride sent me a few and said “if you could play these before the dance that would be incredible”

So, I made it happen. Teddigram had no idea this was coming.

What started as a small request turned into an emotional charged moment. To see the bride elevate the moment more with her joyful gestures made the whole room smile.

As a DJ, the dance section is a big part of what we do, but I’ll always be happy to see the smiles that come from little surprises like this.

Planning your wedding details can be overwhelming, but don’t forget to take time to plan for fun!

The vibe was set to be a brisk, colorful, fall wedding tucked in the trees. When I saw the bride come out in a shiny draped gown that looked like a forest fairy, I instantly knew it was Fleetwood Mac time.
