My favorite kind of cake 🎂

A keto vanilla cake, fresh berries, and a very helpful little decorator who believes in extensive quality control.

Gluten-free, sugar-free, low-carb—and clearly kid-approved.

But the best part had nothing to do with the cake.

It’s getting to make these little memories together in the kitchen.

I have a feeling those are the things I’ll remember most.

Welcome to my little corner of comfort 🩵

I’m a Minnesota girl who somehow ended up building a life in sunny St. Augustine, Florida. I grew up surrounded by Midwestern comfort food, family gatherings, and time spent in my grandmother’s kitchen, where some of my favorite food memories (and my love for her famous pumpkin bars) began.

Food wasn’t actually my first career, though. I have a degree in Veterinary Technology and spent a decade working in specialty veterinary medicine, primarily Critical Care and Internal Medicine. That career taught me more than I ever realized, and I’d eventually carry that into running a food business: attention to detail, organization, problem solving, caring for people during important moments, and functioning remarkably well under pressure.

What started with baking has grown and changed right along with me. These days, I’m a mom, recipe developer, home cook, baker, caterer, and firm believer that some of life’s best memories happen around the table.

Here’s what you’ll find in this little corner:
Recipes. Stories. Hosting. Comfort. Family. A little Midwest nostalgia. Life in Florida. Occasional catering. And plenty of food made from the heart.

Little Cup of Heaven may look a little different these days, and I think that’s a good thing.

Lately I’ve been feeling the pull to slow down. To say yes to
One more walk. One more story. One more afternoon together.

Businesses can grow. Children don’t stay little.

Little Cup of Heaven has always been about comfort, connection, and gathering around the table.

This season, I’m leaning into those things a little more intentionally.

I’ll still be here creating recipes, sharing comfort food, and catering meaningful celebrations. Just at a pace that leaves room for what matters most.
