Josh Young Victorious at the Soares Classic in Petaluma!

8/20/25… Petaluma, California: Saturday Night, The Joe Hunt Magnetos Wingless Sprint Tour, presented by Transport Products Unlimited made its second of four trips this season to Petaluma Speedway for the Soares Classic.

A very strong field of Twenty-Seven Cars would pack into the pit area on Saturday Night in Petaluma for Points Race #10. The night began with time trials where it was the #6 of Bradley Terrell who would grab the Joe Hunt Magnetos Fast Qualifier Award.

Four heat races would be ran on Saturday Night. Benic Enterprises Heat #1 would be captured by the #6 of Bradley Terrell. A.R.T Enterprises Speed Equipment Heat #2 was won by the #36 of Bob Newberry. King Racing Products Heat #3 was won by #1 of of Tristan Gaurdino. Santomauro Racing Products Heat #4 would be taken by the of D.J Johnson.

With Twenty-Seven cars in action, There would be a B-main ran on Saturday Night. The 12-lap B-main was a good one with drivers fighting for the final spots in the feature.

The B-main Winner was the #22 of Braiden Moniz. Also transferring to the feature was the #84 of Colson Plourde, of Jeff Scotto, of Chance Hawkins, of Bruno Bianchi, the of Carson Hawkins, the #77 of Mario Gianini, & the #34 of Shaun Burr.

Next up was the 30-lap feature & it was a good one. The of Josh Young would charge from 3rd to 1st & grab the feature event win. The #6 of Bradley Terrell got out to the lead early and continued before Young passed on lap 28, and finished in 2nd, while the of Tony Soper rounded out the podium. Current point leader Jake Morgan finished 4th, with David Lindt Jr. 5th, and 2023 & 2024 Champion DJ Johnson completing the top 6th position.
