These little individual bouquets are perfect for your Galentines, co-workers, teachers, nurses, or anyone who loves flowers. I made them for the staff at my son’s pre-school years ago, but it is still one of my favorite Valentine projects.

You can customize them with paper colors, types of flowers, or the leaves you make. You can also tuck little notes into each one if the mood strikes.

Important notes:
1. Don’t stick the paper in water (unless you want them to disintegrate).
2. Keep the flowers damp by wrapping the bottoms of the stems with wet paper towels then covering with plastic wrap.
3. If you fill your bucket or vase with rice or another filler, the flowers won’t fall over as they are being removed.

Let me know what you think and if you decide to try this yourself!

Such an amazing night celebrating at their 20th Butterfly Gala in Tucson. Their founder, Shay Beider, has started a MOVEMENT which is changing healthcare/selfcare as we know it. I encourage you NOT to visit their website or IG profile unless you are looking for all the goodness in the world.

My heart is full after this event, and I am beyond excited that I could be a part of it.

This summer, I created an 8-week at-home secret agent training for kids – something fun to do just in case summer camps were a bust. It was even more fun than I hoped! Here is some of the feedback that I received:

What the kids loved:
Getting mail, decrypting ciphers, taking their fingerprints, making invisible ink, and finding all the hidden messages in their packets.

What the parents loved:
Kids that were away from t.v. and videogame screens.
Kids that were reading, writing, thinking, and playing.
Time to themselves while the kids were hiding out working on their “secret” packets.

If you missed out on the summer fun, now is your chance to get in on the action!

The details:
Training kicks off with a welcome packet that includes an official recruitment letter, an agent name generator, and a folder to keep everything organized. They’ll also get the first piece in an on-going puzzle to build excitement.

Then each week, the kiddos will receive “lesson” envelopes filled with riddles, kid-friendly spy facts, a game or puzzle, and other surprises as well as a new cipher to solve and a mission to complete. Every lesson promotes a new skill, such as learning a few words in a new language. Some are themed to work on specific skills like memory, observation, and patience. (Yes! Patience!)

Each recruit will also receive a certificate and badge showing their status as an official “Agent.” That’s 10 separate mailings the kids can look forward to this fall!

What kid doesn’t love getting mail?

The training is geared for ages 7 – 13, with kids 11 and up receiving slightly harder missions and hidden messages.

The complete package with all 10 mailings (and a bonus encrypted birthday card!) is $95 for the first child and $70 for each additional sibling.

NEW THIS FALL: “Junior Recruit” Add-On!
Don’t leave the little ones out! Kids ages 3-6 can receive their own envelope with 2-3 activities each week, including a simple cipher, a coloring sheet or game, and a few goodies that their older siblings receive (like super cool fingerprinting cards). $40 for 8 mailings

To sign up:
Please send children’s names, birthdays, and a mailing address to [email protected]. Payments may be made through PayPal or by check (made payable to “A Farrah Miller Event”) and must be received by August 31.

Disclaimer: This secret agent training is full of reading, writing, and critical thinking.
SHHH! Please don’t tell the kids! 😊

If you are worried about summer camps being closed and are looking for some screen-free entertainment for the kids, I’ve got you covered! I’ve created an 8-week at-home session of summer secret agent fun. Each week, the kiddos will receive an envelope filled with riddles, kid-friendly spy facts, Would You Rather questions, mystery book suggestions, and other surprises as well as a new cipher to solve, and a mission to complete. They’ll also receive a separate welcome packet and a final certificate of completion. That’s 10 separate mailings the kids can look forward to during the summer! What kid doesn’t love getting mail? This is geared for ages 7 – 12, but is great for anyone who loves to solve puzzles and have fun!

Complete packages are $75 for the first child and $50 for each additional sibling. Sign up by May 31 to get $10 off each kit. Get an additional $10 off for each friend you recruit. Welcome packets will arrive mid-June after school is out.

I've been thinking lately about some of my favorite office holiday parties from the past, including our Wholiday Party when we turned our event space into Whoville. One of my other absolute favorites was when we celebrated New Year's a few weeks early and even managed to make it look like it was nighttime, despite it being noon and in a room full of windows. Tell me about your favorite office holiday party in the comments!

I had so much fun helping with an office party last weekend. The theme was "Jingle Bell Rock", so of course we had to have a lot of jingle bells on the table.

What's your office doing for their holiday party this year?
