So happy Purple Place isn’t closing completely this round of closings. Patio dining for all and hopefully doordash too!!!🥂🍾💕

Well, we like to look on the bright side here at the Purple Place, so for those of you that love dining on the patio we’ve got great news: there is about to be a whole lot more outdoor seating. Due to the new state guidelines, we have to close our indoor seating, so we are installing a large temporary covered patio area. We will still be open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner Wednesday through Sunday, so you will still be able to enjoy your morning Bloody Mary’s and your Winedown Wednesdays just like you have been. Stay tuned to our social media because we have more awesome plans to be rolled out soon.

Clients, Friends & Family,

It was a hard decision to make, but I have committed to taking the remainder of 2015 off from the event design industry. The pace I have been trying to keep up with these past few years has finally caught up to me. Taking the remainder of 2015 for myself, I plan to do a little R&R and spend some extra time with my sons.

Completed the American Red Cross 2nd Annual Red Tie Gala on November 1, 2014. Looking forward to the wrap meeting now, to go over how to make it even better next year!

On November 1, 2014 The American Red Cross held their 2nd Annual Red Tie Gala. This was my first event working for the American Red Cross and it was exciting to say the least!

I look forward to working with the Red Cross on many more successful fundraisers in the future.

This years Gala took place at the Elks Tower in Sacramento.

The American Red Cross Tiffany Circle held their annual Red Tie Gala which included the Spirit of Tiffany Awards to Winnie Comstock-Carlson, President and Publisher, Comstock’s Magazine Elks Towner on November 1st.
Six Veterans from different branches of service were also honored.
The Tiffany Circle is a nationwide network of women leaders and philanthropists, who change lives, save lives and strengthen their local community with an annual investment of $10,000 in their local Red Cross Chapter. Tiffany Circle Members follow in the footsteps of women leaders who have helped the Red Cross serve the American public in times of war and peace with disaster assistance, blood collection, safety training and countless other community assistance services.

Working with a new caterer in the Sacramento area named Betsy Hite. Betsy is a chef and also the owner of Elegant and Easy Gourmet. Betsy came highly recommended for an event I am working on, and after doing a tasting last week I know why. The food was fantastic!!! It not only tasted fabulous but it looked great too! Two things I especially like about this caterer, other than the delicious food; Betsy, the owner, is accommodating and a pleasure to work with and the selection/price of her menus is phenomenal. Her food selections are varied enough she is appropriate for any type of event and her pricing is extremely reasonable. I highly suggest if you are looking for a caterer for any future events, contact Betsy, you'll be amazed! I'm attaching a few pics for you to see for yourself what I tasted last week. The dinner plate was a combo of 3 types or chicken, a steak option with blue cheese, garlic mashed potatoes and seasonal veggies. The soup is butternut squash, and the appetizers are mini shrimp tostadas, spicy beef skewers and polenta tarts with blue cheese. Everything was delicious!! Did I mention she grows her own vegetables too! Simply Amazing....

Been working hard on the upcoming American Red Cross Tiffany Circle Gala, being held on November 1, 2014, at the Elks Tower in downtown Sacramento. All signs point to a very successful Black Tie event, sure to raise funds for a very worthy cause.

I'll keep you posted on progress and ticket prices. Maybe I will see some of you there! I'm including some pictures of the Elks Tower ballroom. If you've never seen it before, you are sure to be impressed!
