Hey Everyone! Happy New Year! I wanted to introduce myself, my name is Shelby. Owner and Lead coordinator of SD Weddings and Events. I am also a stylist/designer, florist, and planner.
I absolutely love what I do. My passion for weddings started as a child. With a notebook full of wedding dress sketches, notes of wedding plans, dreams of one day becoming a wedding coordinator. As an adult I logically started a career in the medical field to support my daughter. After meeting my husband, with his support and encouragement, I was finally able to pursue my dreams. I left the medical field after 13 years and dove right into full time starting my business.
Taking a leap of faith has been my biggest challenge, with the most successful reward. The smiles on my clients faces, the gratitude they give when I was able to deliver their stress-free day full of memories and bliss! This is why I do what I do. I love LOVE. And I LOVE bringing their vision to life!
