After several days living “off the grid” in the mountainous forest of Northern Idaho we are headed back to Boise.

Some might say that being without WiFi or cell service was what we all needed. Never thought I’d see my kids not be on the tablets and not ask for them 1700x a day! But with the dozens of animals on my brothers property there was always something to do, someone to play with.

The air, the trees, the company of family, and the constant sound of the water rushing through Canyon Creek just a few footsteps away was a great way to relax and feel genuinely grounded.

Just a few more days until we fly back home. Hows everybody doing? What did we miss? I have no clue what’s happening 😂

Don’t forget guys we are not working this or next week as we are in Idaho celebrating several birthdays and having two family reunions!

Just wanted to check in from Idaho! We’ve had an adventurous beginning of this trip.

From taking 3 car rides and 2 flights just to get to Boise throughout the night, and then going camping near Kirkham Springs!

The video is from the spring. An amazing example of God’s creation. HOT spring water cascading down in small waterfalls into a dozen small pools. Right next to it is a fast moving river. River is very cold, the springs are very hot. Further down from the place I took this video is even more beautiful but I did not take my phone with me. Went off roading on quads through the mountains of Boise National Forest, camped in the middle of nowhere with no cell service - it was literally what the doctor ordered.

Currently we are driving 8 hours north to Sandpoint. A very mountainous route with majestic views, to see my brothers property for the first time ever.

Not gonna lie, we are really enjoying this break for many reasons, including the weather! It’s been 70/80 during the day and 50s at night so far, which feels so refreshing after the heat and humidity back home.

Thank you Englewood! We had a strong turnout tonight, and I greatly appreciate all of you being patient while waiting for your food! I have the headache of the century today and dropped an entire pork butt, dropped watermelon, dropped sausage, and next I will drop myself on my head to make this headache disappear.

Anyways, don’t forget - for the next two weeks we will be out of town to finally visit my brother in Idaho!

Next scheduled date and location is June 11th in Englewood on McCall (same place as today). There’s a few days available on the schedule prior to the 11th so good chance that something else will pop up after our return, and before the 11th.

Thank you all again. I don’t know how we made it this far. I thank God first, my wife second for having the strength to put up with me, the kids, and this business, and last I thank all of you for being the best customers any business could have. You guys are amazing, may God’s blessings rain upon you like it’s peak hurricane season in FL.

This Thursday is our last day open for about two weeks as we are flying to Idaho to celebrate 3 back to back birthdays! Unfortunately I will be turning FORTY years old at the end of the month, seems pretty ridiculous but there’s really no way around it.

This week is busy and mostly packed with private events and catering.

Tuesday 4-7pm @ Grand Palm in Venice. This is a gated community. But with something like 1700 homes there’s a fair chance you know someone that lives there that can get you through the gate!

Wednesday lunch we are blessed and honored to feed the staff at Fawcett Memorial Hospital in Port Charlotte again 💪🏼🔥

This is a brand new location for us. Many of our followers have asked us to come to Englewood to a location that is open to the public and we have found one! My hope is that this will become a regular location that we can come to every week, or at least a few times a month, ideally on the same day of the week.

We’re still here at the Charlotte county fairgrounds. It’s been slow, so we’ve got a lot of food left. Maybe you know what happens when you stop by our food truck “on a slow day”… and if you don’t know, today is a good day to find out 💯

🔥Full menu both days. Saturday is an event that does have admission fees, and we are doing all we can to be able to feed everyone without having to pay the admission to get into the event. I am hopeful that the food trucks will be parked outside of the entrance of the fairgrounds for access.

🚨 Pre orders must be submitted by text before midnight the day of the event. If you have a large order - several pounds or racks - please let us know by texting 916-804-1579.

🔥May 23rd our family is headed to Idaho to celebrate 3 birthdays! Before we leave, we will be in Englewood at a new location that we hope will become one of the regular, weekly locations for the summertime and maybe beyond! I’ll post more on that later. As I mentioned before I am looking and planning on finding 3 - 4 local locations that we can come to every week on the same day.
