during a recent consultation call, a couple asked us a question we loved: “what does your team actually do on a wedding day?”

the truth is, by the time guests arrive, our work is already well underway.
the week of the wedding, our team meets to review every detail, timeline, layout, and responsibility…& when wedding day arrives, we begin with a team debrief before splitting up to execute our assigned tasks.

while our team is setting spaces, styling details, and preparing for guests, your lead planner is focused on the bigger picture — greeting vendors, checking in with the couple, managing the timeline, and ensuring every moving piece works together seamlessly.

as ceremony time approaches, everyone has a role. your lead planner is lining up the wedding party while your coordinators are communicating with the dj or musicians and preparing the client for their walk down the aisle — all connected by walkie-talkies to keep everything running smoothly.

after wrapping up our first wedding this past weekend… every moment felt a little more real—like it was my own.

✨ fixing the bride’s veil… i felt her nerves before the first look.
•
✨ pinning the groom’s boutonniere… i felt his quiet excitement behind composed hands.
•
✨ staying aligned with vendors through the subtle shifts of the day… i understood what it truly means to be fully supported and fully let go.
•
✨ watching the last dance of the night… i understood that the most unforgettable moments are never the perfectly planned ones… but the ones you look back on that you never thought were captured.

and in all of that… it reminded me.
