Thank you to the parents, the directors and officers, and to the amazing contestants for your hard work and helping make this a great season. Thank you for all of the donations and ticket drop items, we could not do what we do without your support. A special thank you to Eddie Stevenson for the donation of our live auction item and to the Santos and Pryor families for renting a building for us to host the awards. Congratulations to all of our winners! See yall next summer!

SYRC is providing the meat
Leadline and 8 to 10 bring iced down drinks
11 to 14 and 15 to 18 bring side dishes with utensils
7 and under bring desserts

Please bring an auction item for the ticket drop. This can be anything from jewelry, rope, caps, decor, you name it! We had a riffle donated for our auction. Please see the flyer for more information.

Let’s Rodeo! The arena is good. Please make sure you bring your 50/50 raffle tickets and money! Each contestant must sell 10 tickets to qualify for prizes. See everyone tomorrow night!

The rodeo for Thursday night July 23rd is PENDING! We will reevaluate on Wednesday and make the final decision. If the arena is too wet we will be looking at rescheduling July 30th. Please spread the message.

Please spread the message that Thursday’s (July 16th) rodeo has been cancelled! We will see everyone July 23rd. That gives everyone another week to get their 50/50 tickets sold. Remember tickets must be sold to receive awards. Have a great week, see yall soon!

We have been made aware that a few contestants have been unable to sell all 20 of their 50/50 tickets. We have decided to drop the required amount to 10. EACH CONTESTANT MUST SELL 10 TICKETS AND HAVE TICKETS AND MONEY TURNED IN BY THE LAST RODEO (July 16) IN ORDER TO QUALIFY FOR PRIZES!!! Please try to sell all 20, we understand that this may be a challenging thing to do. We try to keep fees as low as possible and give the best prizes possible. There has been a significant increase in the cost of buckles and prizes over this past year and a significant decrease in sponsors. Remember that we, the directors, are employed adults that volunteer our time, much more than many realize and are working as hard as we can to put on a fun, competitive, safe, and as inexpensive summer rodeo series as possible.

SYRC reminders: you must get your work points, 2 per rodeo per contestant and you must sell your 50/50 raffle tickets to be eligible for prizes! Please turn in your tickets and money as soon as possible, but they must be turned in by the last rodeo. Last year’s winner won $4480 on a $10 ticket! See yall Thursday!

Update: VERY IMPORTANT MESSAGE!!!!! If you are coming from a non infected zone and NOT staying more than 24hrs, you do NOT need health papers. If you are traveling within an infected zone you do NOT need health papers. But if you are traveling from an infected zone to a non infected zone you WILL need health papers. Please call one of the numbers posted for the most recent updates and for clarification on the rules. Be patient as so much is changing daily and sometimes they themselves don’t have all the answers.
