Dear SYRC Families,
We would like to sincerely apologize for the events that took place last night. As a club, we do not condone the type of behavior that was exhibited. It does not reflect the values or spirit of our organization.
Our club prides itself on creating a fun, family friendly environment where our youth can grow, learn, and compete in a safe and respectful setting. It is important to remember that this is a youth event, and the behavior of adults, especially parents, sets the tone for the experience our kids have. Parents are expected to conduct themselves with respect and integrity at all times. The behavior witnessed last night was unacceptable and will not be tolerated moving forward.
It is also important to remember that all of our directors are volunteers who dedicate their time and energy to make these rodeos possible. Our goal is to ensure a fair and competitive experience for everyone involved.
We understand that, from time to time, concerns may arise. However, it is essential that any concerns or complaints be expressed in a respectful and appropriate manner. If you have a concern, we ask that you follow the proper channels so that we can address it effectively. This includes speaking to directors in a calm and respectful tone. By approaching issues in a constructive way, you give us the opportunity to work toward a fair resolution.
We want to kindly remind all participants and attendees that this is a youth event, and as such, alcohol is prohibited.
We appreciate your understanding and continued support as we work to uphold the standards and integrity of our club. Let’s continue to work together to set a positive example for our youth and ensure that our rodeos remain a place for fun, sportsmanship, and community.
