Each week we share tips and tricks to help ensure your flowers last as long as possible!

This week is: Ranunculus

➡️ Re-cut stems at an angle with scissors and place in clean, fresh water.
➡️ Can become top heavy; a wire inserted carefully into the stem will help to support it.
➡️ Stand in a cool position and be prepared for the flowers to curve naturally towards the light.
➡️ Change water every other day and use flower food.

Availability: October- June; peaks December-May
Vase Life: approximately 7-10 days
Color Range: tones of white, lemon, yellow, orange, peach, gold, pale & dark pink, red, & burgundy

This week is: Stock

➡️ Re-cut stems and stand in clean, fresh shallow water.
➡️ Use flower food and change water daily as stocks can pollute water, especially in warm weather
➡️ Stand in a cool spot out of direct heat sources with good air circulation.
➡️ Stocks look gorgeous simply arranged on their own or try with peonies and Alchemilla mollis

Availability: all year round, peaks May-October
Vase Life: approximately 5-7 days
Color Range: White, cream, lilac, purple, pale pink, cerise pink, burgundy.
