One thing couples notice quickly at Rushwood is that the space never feels rigid or overly formal.

Guests naturally move throughout the barn all night long… between the lofts, the dance floor, the bar, the decks, quiet conversations tucked into corners, and different views overlooking the space below.

It creates a wedding atmosphere that feels warm, relaxed, and genuinely connected instead of confined to one room or one layout.

Rushwood wasn’t built to look rustic.

It was raised in 1907 by local families, neighbors, farmers, and tradesmen who showed up for one another, beam by beam.

Back then, this barn was part of working farm life. More than a century later, it’s still standing, still gathering people, and still holding some of life’s biggest moments.

When you trust us with your wedding day, you’re adding your own chapter to a story that’s still being told. 🤍

The gazebo has become one of the most meaningful little spots on the property 🤍

Of course it’s used for ceremonies, but over time it’s also become part of our couples’ lives outside the wedding day itself.

We’ve had clients come back for engagement photos, graduation pictures, senior portraits, anniversaries, and quiet moments in between.

One of our 2027 brides recently came out for photos after finishing her master’s degree because this place already felt meaningful to her, long before the wedding weekend even arrived.

That part never gets old to us.

One of the things couples tell us all the time after touring Rushwood is how warm and complete the space already feels before they even bring in their own decor.

We’ve intentionally kept the barn grounded in neutral, natural tones so it works beautifully with everything from black tie elegance to wildflowers and boots 🤍

The goal was never to create a space couples have to completely transform for one day.
We wanted to create a space that already feels good to be in.

Rushwood works a little differently than most venues.

You’re here for the whole weekend. No bouncing between locations, no splitting everyone up. It’s all in one place.

The guest house is attached to the barn, so once you’re here, you’re here.

You come in Thursday, take your time setting up Friday, and by the time Saturday rolls around, it already feels like home.

Sunday morning, you’re still there, enjoying coffee and your loved ones on the wraparound deck.

We’re working on an updated website that reflects the changes and additions we’ve made over the past year.

Until the weather turns and we’re able to capture new photos, we’re sharing pieces of the property that show how the space has evolved.

That includes a five-bedroom guest house with a built-in hot tub and sauna, along with updates to the garden gazebo and surrounding grounds.
