Tonight, a rainbow settled perfectly over the gazebo just as the day was winding down. 🌈

Not a bad way to end the day at Rushwood Barn.

𝗔 𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗹𝗲 𝗯𝗲𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗱-𝘁𝗵𝗲-𝘀𝗰𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘀 𝗺𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗙𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗼 𝗙𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗮𝗹 𝗮𝘁 𝗥𝘂𝘀𝗵𝘄𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗼𝗻 𝗝𝘂𝗹𝘆 𝟮𝟱.

For anyone who hasn’t met us yet, that’s Mike and Lauren behind the bar, spending the day alongside two of the wonderful women who helped bring the festival to life.
It was our pleasure to open the barn and lend a hand for a day filled with food, music, families, and such an incredible sense of community.

After bringing new life to the gazebo and giving the surrounding ceremony space the care it deserved, there’s something so special about seeing it filled with chairs and ready to hold one of the most meaningful moments of a wedding day.

It feels less like we created something new and more like we finally gave this little corner of Rushwood what she had been waiting for.

It was an honor to donate our venue to the first annual Rochester Filipino Festival.

This corner of the property has always had the view. Now it’s starting to look like the ceremony spot it was meant to be.

The gazebo area has come a long way since Rushwood came under new ownership, and this summer it’s been so nice seeing the landscaping fill in around it.

It still feels open and natural, just more finished- the kind of hilltop ceremony space this view deserved all along.
