You asked, and we listened. 🀄

So many of you told us the same thing — league weeks running Monday through Sunday didn’t match how you actually play. You wanted weeks to run Sunday through Saturday, and enough of you said it that we went ahead and made the change.

That means Holiday League shifts by one day:

📅 Season: Sunday, October 25 – Saturday, December 19
📅 Registration closes: Sunday, November 8
📅 Table Scheduling opens: Monday, October 12 — unchanged

Still eight weeks, still $80, and nothing else about the season changes. If you’re already registered, there’s nothing you need to do.

Still need to register for Holiday League? Comment REGISTER and we will send you the link to find your city!

What a fun night of mahjong at Arepa Grill Kitchen & W**e! 🀄️✨

Great games, fabulous company, and some seriously amazing food made for such a fun Open Play night.

And the drinks! 🍹 Arepa created fabulous custom cocktails just for our Tiled Sparrow crew, and they were every bit as good as they looked.

A huge thank you to the entire team at Arepa Grill Kitchen & W**e. They are always so welcoming and friendly, the food is incredible, and they are truly wonderful to work with. We love getting to bring our mahjong community together in such a great space.

The Mahjong Open is here in North Metro Atlanta, and it’s built to fit the way you already play.

No travel required! Play with other registered players in your city.

No set meeting day, time, or location. Play as much or as little as you like, create a table or join one, and submit your scores through the player portal.

Already playing in another league? You can double dip! If everyone at your table is registered for both, the same game can count toward both leagues. One game. Two leagues.

There are multiple ways to compete throughout the season, plus some pretty fabulous bragging rights. Our North Metro Atlanta Flight Winner will receive a December 1994 tile set from Sunday Mahjong!

Swipe through to see how it all works, including scoring, awards, leaderboards, and everything included with registration.

Love Mahjong, but can’t commit to the same night every week? This league was made for you.

The Mahjong Open Holiday League is coming to North Metro Atlanta October 26–December 20, with a completely different way to play league Mahjong.

You choose when you play, where you play, and how often you play. Join an available table or create your own. Play with friends you already know or meet new players throughout North Metro Atlanta. Play once a week, several times a week, or whenever your schedule allows.

Your $80 registration covers all 8 weeks AND the entire North Metro Atlanta area, not just one city.

Plus, there are plenty of reasons to keep playing! Your scores are tracked throughout the league as you compete for Ace, Champion, and Flight Winner honors, and our North Metro Atlanta Holiday League Flight Winner will receive the Sunday Mahjong December 1994 tile set!

Newer player? Experienced player? Somewhere in between? All levels are welcome. The Mahjong Open is about playing more Mahjong, meeting more players, improving your game, and having fun along the way.

No partner required. No set weekly night. No limit on how often you can play.
