OXI Day – October 28, 1940 🇬🇷

At dawn on this day, Mussolini’s envoy delivered an ultimatum demanding that Greece allow Axis forces to occupy strategic locations. Prime Minister Ioannis Metaxas responded with one powerful word - «OXI» (No).

That single word sparked Greece’s entry into World War II, as the nation stood united against tyranny and fought with unmatched courage.
