It’s that special time of year again! God has truly been good to us, and we want to share that goodness with others. 💛

On behalf of Salud Comfort Food, Raul & Kennetha are looking to bless TWO families in need this Thanksgiving! 🙌🏽

If you know of anyone in the Chicagoland area who has fallen on hard times and could use a little help this season, please reach out to us. 💌
All nominations will remain strictly confidential.

📦 Meals will be delivered on Wednesday, November 26th, after 2 PM, and include items from our special holiday menu:

🍖 Protein (choose 1)
• Honey Ham
• Lechon (Shredded Pork)
• Fried Chicken
• Pot Roast & Vegetables

🥘 Sides (choose 2)
• Arroz con Gandules (Puerto Rican Rice)
• Southern Potato Salad
• Baked Cheesy Macaroni & Cheese
• Collard Greens with Smoked Turkey
• Green Beans with Smoked Turkey
• Candied Sweet Potatoes

🍰 Dessert (choose 1)
• Banana Pudding Cups
• Chocolate Chip Cookies (with or without nuts)
• Sweet Potato Pie

✨ All portions are equivalent to half-pan sizes.

Please share with us why you believe this family would be a good fit.
We’ll be selecting the two families by Friday, November 14th.

As much as we’d love to help everyone, we can only accommodate two families this year. ❤️

We’re stepping away for a much-needed vacation from July 8th to July 12th, 2025, to spend time with our family and recharge our creative batteries.

In the meantime, all emails, inquiries, and messages will be addressed upon our return. We appreciate your patience and eagerly anticipate our return, refreshed and ready to serve you!

As a small note, our books are closed for the month of July. However, we do still have some openings available in August.
