The World Trade Center Arkansas took part in the 2025 NASDA Annual Meeting in Rogers, hosted by the Arkansas Department of Agriculture.

Bringing together agricultural leaders from across the country, the meeting fostered dialogue on the role of agriculture in ensuring food security, strengthening the economy, and supporting national priorities. Guided by the theme “Securing Our Future Through Agriculture,” the discussions highlighted both challenges and opportunities shaping the sector.

Our participation reflected our continued commitment to engaging in collaborative spaces where agriculture, trade, and economic development intersect, and to supporting efforts that contribute to the growth and resilience of Arkansas and U.S. agriculture.

Recently, our CEO and the Chair of the Arkansas District Export Council met with representatives of the Québec Government Office in Houston.

The discussion focused on cross-border trade activity and opportunities to further expand exports and imports between our regions, building on the strong commercial ties that already exist. STEP Grant Spotlight: Arkansas Innovation on the Global Stage.

At this year’s Paris Air Show, five Arkansas companies are showcasing their expertise at one of the world’s largest aerospace events. Throughout the week, we’re spotlighting our STEP Grant clients who are helping elevate Arkansas’s global presence—starting with two exceptional aerospace manufacturers:

- RCAL Products (Northwest Arkansas) specializes in high-reliability PCB assembly for aerospace and defense. With over 30 years of engineering and production experience, they deliver precision through advanced manufacturing, medical-grade tracking, and rapid prototyping.

- Arcturus Aerospace (Little Rock) manufactures CNC machined components and flight control system parts for commercial and military aircraft. Their solutions support uptime and cost-efficiency with expertise in machining, anodizing, and conversion coatings.

These Arkansas companies are showcasing their capabilities to the world—expanding their global reach and demonstrating the big impact that small businesses can make internationally.

This past Friday, our CEO, Denise Thomas, had the honor of presenting in Little Rock for the Leadership Foundations for Women program — a powerful initiative designed to equip women with tactical leadership skills for professional growth.

With over 25 years of experience in international trade, Denise shared her insights as a global business leader and also as a certified Happiness Strategist, guiding attendees through the principles of balance, well-being, and resilience using lessons from Happy for No Reason by Marci Shimoff.

We’re proud to see her continue to inspire and lead across industries and communities.
