Ohana Home

Ohana Home Ohana Home is an event and retreat center "serving those who serve" in our community and state.

Ohana Home is a 501c3 retreat center and event center that strives to be a “place of rest” or respite for those in our world that give of themselves every day. We want to “Serve those who serve”-People like foster parents, adoptive parents, pastors, worship leaders, missionaries, leaders of non-profit organizations, care givers, nurses, firefighters etc. We want to give them not only a place of re

st but of refreshment, and restoration. We offer a few days at a time at the center for refreshment and rest as well as retreats for these groups for refreshment and fellowship with people in similar positions for little or no cost to the participants. In order to support this ministry, we will run the center as a recovery friendly retreat and event center for retreats and family reunions as well as events like graduation parties, weddings, and fundraisers. We would also list on Air B&B when there are not events booked, and plan to have 3 RV hook ups for guests to rent. This facility will:
*Be a place for rest and rejuvenation for the people who are the
caregivers of our society. A place for like-minded people to
fellowship and renew their strength and passion for the work
they do.
*Be self-supporting once built as the facility serves our
community as a recovery friendly retreat center and event
center. A place for family reunions and other gatherings or
retreats, corporate events, and a place for travelers to stay while
visiting our area.

31 But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.
Isaiah 40:31

Sometimes the waiting is so hard. God does everything in his time, and we know that He will renew our strength so that we do not grow weary! Please continue to pray with us about Ohana Home as we are still in this waiting period. Pray we see progress soon and our strength will be renewed.

“We live in a world in which we need to share responsibility. It’s easy to say, “It’s not my child, not my community, not my world, not my problem.” Then there are those who see the need and respond. I consider those people my heroes.” Fred Rogers
