One of my favorite preservations , the mother of the bride and the bride searched for the perfect antique frame, the bride saved her century-old prom flowers, and for the something old tradition and the wedding florist creatively inserted them into the bride's bouquet. The multitude of gorgeous flowers, such as spray roses and anemones, made this preservation so fun to create! Many brides include sentimental keepsakes in their wedding bouquets, this one was so special!

I worked with the most precious parents on this preservation they knew exactly what they wanted very specific requests for the gift to the gorgeous bride and groom. Her parents specifically asked for a 16x20 pressed portrait with preserved garlands. The handmade garland (varmala) signifies one of the most significant cultural religious accessories of the wedding and an ancient tradition. The garland had red and white roses and baby’s breath hand sewn in between each rose. The bride had saved the first rose her groom had given her on their first date 8 years ago, 🥀🌹It had traveled many places. The parents asked if we could place the rose in with the others. And the dad requested lights in the framing. They had requested (parents) that the picture have the pressed florals as well. I had already preserved the garlands so I was unsure which direction to go, hard to pressed already preserved florals. Now if you have stayed with me this long and read this long post, let me know if you agree the dimensional baby’s breath might be the best feature of this gorgeous bride and grooms garlands. I love special requests, This was a gift to the newlyweds and the parents requested everything from the largest frame to the lights. I love religious traditions! I loved working with these precious parents❤️ the baby’s breath florals placed on the picture is my favorite part of the preservation❤️🌹

I'm thankful for the trust you've placed in me with your flowers, allowing me to work meticulously to keep pace with life's demands. Although last year brought unforeseen twists and turns, and I'm still adjusting in so many ways, in my mind mostly that my full time job isn’t preservation yet and it’s at a crazy stressful new job that mentally challenges me every day, for now. Hopefully that is short lived! Thank you again for allowing me to work at a turtles pace and deliver you beautiful preservations Please enjoy these beautiful creations, knowing more are on the way.
