Most people don't ever get the opportunity to come face to face with animals from all over the world. Exotic Encounter's live animal shows allow you to get up close and personnel with these amazing creatures, learn what they eat, where they come from, touch them, and even feed them! Our live animal shows come to wherever the party or event are! We have so many animals to choose from, tenrecs from
Madagascar, micro squirrels from Africa, and parrots from Australia. It's easy for children and adults to be captivated as they have an encounter on the wild side. Our programs are unique, educational, and appropriate for any age! Our experienced handlers have been successfully doing live animal shows for years. We are fully insured and all of our animals are healthy, captive born, and raised around people.

Growing up in New York I was privileged to learn all there was to know about animals in my families pet store. My father didn’t have your typical pet store, he had many types of exotic animals that you wouldn’t find or see anywhere else like giant tortoises, pigs, kinkajous, large parrots, and two headed turtles! It was my own personnel petting zoo and I never tired of it, even as I got older.
As a mater of fact, my fascination with animals kept growing as I got older, and I always loved to share my love of animals with others, especially children. Their faces just light up when they are presented with an animal and they learn about them. I was in my teens when I realized that when teaching children about animals you had to talk to them and present the information in a way that they could understand. It wasn’t long after that that I started to give tours for groups of children.
As an adult, to keep my passion for animals going, my husband and I formed Exotic Encounters. Through silly stories, props, and one of a kind, hands-on experiences children learn interesting and often funny facts about animals. Each “Exotic Encounter” is different, but the end always remains the same, in that, all the children have fun and walk away learning something about animals that they did not know before and life long memories have been created..
Now, Exotic Encounters is available for birthday parties, school programs, scout experiences, church, library programs, as well as, summer camps. You can even offer one of our one of a kind “Exotic Encounters” as a gift!!!
