New equipment added to our inventory! Today, most DJs rely on what is called a "column array" for nearly all their jobs. Admittedly, we own a set for smaller events and they do very well for events they were intended for. What about that outdoor event where you need to cover a large area but also throw the sound far? How about that barn that magically became a wedding venue that swallows all the sound when full of 150 happy wedding guests? We needed to find the missing link in our sound gear inventory. We needed something small, powerful, sleek, and lightweight.

One day last summer, my family and I went to Muhlenberg River Fest. Our friends at In the Mix Light and Sound LLC had a nice rig out for general PA and sound reinforcement for many types of acts and bands. I was blown away the mid/high cabinets Nate, (the owner) was using. I spoke with him and did some research and patiently waited, never being impulsive and never thinking something this high end would go on sale. Two week ago, the patience paid off!

A few quick pics from Daniel Boone prom today. The room really came alive once we dimmed the lights. No dancing pics due this being a school function. The dance floor was packed all night and the students were a lot of fun!

Busy past four days with two karaoke shows and then today, Emma's Sweet 16 with DJ Alex G keeping everyone dancing and Jessica and Drew's wedding with DJ Sean in the mix. We worked a surprise wedding intro via video of a Philadelphia Eagles player introducing the couple as the DJ setup changed color to Kelly green. Guests were extremely impressed and the party to follow did not disappoint!

Our busy weekend started with karaoke on Thursday at liberty taproom, Sienna and Angelo's ceremony and reception on Friday, and then Alvernia University's accepted students day today. It was a great run but a little rest is needed before family time tomorrow! Here are some pics from the wedding featuring a four speaker sound system and our truss totems.
