There’s just something about a classic blue and white wedding—timeless, graceful, and oh so Southern. And Anna’s wedding at the Beaufort Hotel this past weekend gave us all the charm.

But can we talk about these ladies? Surrounded by her closest friends and sweet sisters in the dreamiest shades of blue, Anna looked radiant and right at home by the water. The bridal portrait of this group is one for the books—poised, polished, and full of joy.

From their perfectly coordinated gowns to the way they supported their girl with such heart, this bridal party was a vision of elegance and genuine friendship.

Last May, Chelsea and Matt said “I do” on the coastal shores of Beaufort, NC—and this serene moment still takes our breath away. The way her lace gown swept across the sand, the joy in their eyes, and that soft ocean breeze… it was a day straight from a dream.

Yesterday, we were back at the Beaufort Hotel for another unforgettable celebration, and let me tell you—it was magic all over again! We’re anxiously awaiting sneak peeks from the gallery and can’t wait to share more soon.

Hi, I’m Chelsea Cooper! I’m so excited to share a little about me and some of my favorite things:

Food - Whether I’m trying a new restaurant or cooking up a favorite at home, I believe the best memories are made around the table with good food, great drinks, and even better company. Dinner? Say where!

Gardening - A super rewarding hobby is watching the tiniest plants grow to be crazy and strong! We have over 30 houseplants in our townhouse and every summer grow over 10 varieties of hot pepper plants along with lots of herbs and veggies! 

Dog mom – My Rottie-Shepherd mix, Abe, is 100 pounds of pure love and snuggles. He’s my shadow and my heart, he also answers emails and attends all virtual meetings with me! The best boy in the whole world!

Florals – I got my start in the wedding industry working in floral design, and while my shears have been traded in, my love for flowers has only grown. I appreciate the beauty and impact that florals can bring to any event and am always interested in seeing the mechanics behind amazing designs. You’ll often find garden fresh blooms in my home, and I’m always looking for inspiring floral installations.

The coast – My husband (y’all know Matt @ the Distillery) and I recently got married in Beaufort, NC, and have always loved a good beach trip. Give me sand, sun, and the sound of waves, and it’s where I feel most at home.

Nothing compares to the feeling of seeing a couple’s vision come to life. From designing personalized tablescapes to curating every thoughtful detail, I love creating events that feel like a true reflection of each couple. Every wedding is different, and that’s what keeps me inspired!

Southern Elegance @ Rose Hill

Krista knew she wanted to get married on the front porch of a beautiful white house, so Rose Hill Plantation was a perfect choice of a wedding venue in NC. Their Southern styled wedding was filled to the brim with classic florals and decor in ivory, blush and champagne. Krista and Jeffrey’s Rose Hill wedding was truly a work of art. Chad Biggs Event Planning and Design took Krista’s vision and turned it into the couple’s dream day.

Krista and Jeffrey’s Love Story

Krista and Jeffrey have had eyes for each other since the eighth grade, when they began dating. So when it came time to propose, Jeffrey knew exactly what would knock her socks off. He surprised Krista at work with a limo that drove her to a day of pampering activities, and at her final destination he proposed in a beautifully decorated barn. As if that wasn’t enough, Jeffrey orchestrated all of their loved ones to be on hand to celebrate the couple!
