We just loaded up our space with Mother's Day gifts galore!! If you still need a special gift for Mom, look no further. Our lavender plants, sachets, teas and soaps & lotions are perfect! If the beach is Mom's favorite place to be, we have our Beach House potpourri, wreaths, dishes and vases, and much more. Beautiful wreaths abound, as well as unique furniture pieces, pillows and pillow covers, and home decor. You're sure to find that perfect gift for Mom! Collected Treasures will be open Friday and Saturday, 10am to 6 pm, and Sunday, 12 to 5pm for your Mother's Day shopping!

Meet Lisa Treadaway, one of our farm partners! Lisa and her husband, Craig, own and live on the farm where The Little Herb House is located. Seventeen years ago, she started her business with a vision of growing herbs and making herbal products. They invited people to the farm to take classes, tour the gardens and learn all about how to grow and use herbs. "We have been blessed with a beautiful piece of land that I find much fulfillment and pleasure in growing beautiful things and sharing with others," says Lisa. I absolutely love this picture!! My husband said about a week ago he wanted to throw the boat away (he is a "throw everything away" and I am a "keep everything, maybe even hoard π€"). When he said it I said "No! That would be beautiful in a picture!" Thank you Candice Rork Photograpy for bringing my vision to reality!! And I am obsessed with the blue jean jacket over a wedding dress - first time I've ever seen it and hope it won't be the last!! Love, love, love!

Thereβs just something about country living that adds all the right ingredients to a marriage! When my husband and I bought this farm in 1996, little did we know it would become a place where love would grow! Our marriage of 37 years has prospered and produced as weβve added the country living ingredients to it. The middle of our three daughters (pictured above) was just married on the farm this year. Now her marriage is being carefully tended to and nourished on this farm.
But whatβs really amazing is that now the farm is a wedding venue where happily ever after really does begin here! We are privileged to share the beginning of many, many marriages with couples looking to add those right ingredients to their wedding.
I just canβt help but think that weβre adding those magical ingredients to every marriage that begins here - ingredients like love, faithfulness, devotion, hard work, taking time to play and enjoy the fresh air and green grass, and carefully tending to and nourishing your new life together!

Our farm tables are locally made
and hand-crafted from western red cedar, making
each table uniquely beautiful. We hand sand and
hand finish our tables, allowing the natural beauty

Lots of Strawberries, including a bundle, from Phillips Farms of Cary, NC!
Blueberries are still going strong from Cal Lewis and Billy Augustine. Billy's dad grows the blueberries, & Billy grows delicious organic tomatoes all summer!
All the lettuces are coming off the field from James Sharpe and we'll have them for several weeks--until it gets hot, then no more until the fall.
Organic Basil from Red Hawk Farm
Herbie's fields at Cottle Organics are coming in as well--we added radishes, rainbow chard, & more to the menu
Yellow Squash and Zucchini are delayed due to the cold, but the weekend's weather should speed things up. We need temps to stay at 60 degrees or more at night to get the growth.
Blackberries are a bit slow too, but should be ready in a week or two, as well as the cherries from Ayers Orchards
--ready by the first week of June.
