The thing about owning a business is that most of the people in your life genuinely love you and still can’t fully meet you there.

Not because they don’t care.
Because they haven’t lived it.

There’s a specific kind of lonely that comes with running a wedding business.

Your family loves you. Your partner tries to understand. Your friends cheer you on.

But when you’re sitting with the real questions, the ones about whether to raise your prices, whether to keep pushing, whether to grow or scale back or just... stop, they don’t quite have the frame for it.

Hear me out. When a client sends you a ‘just checking in’ email, most of us feel a little dread. But that email? It’s actually data.

It means they don’t know what’s happening. It means there’s no clear touchpoint they can anchor to. It means your process has a communication gap, and they filled it by bothering you.

The fix is not to respond faster. The fix is to build a process so solid they never feel the need to check in.
