Not a big deal, but a big deal for me. I made a silk tassel for my new/antique parasol that I recovered to match my new 1884 seaside gown. The antique parasol originally had a tassel but it had deteriorated and was little more than the wooden bead and a shredded cord. Is it perfect, no, the cord I made to wrap around the wooden bead top did not hold it's twist when I was wrapping it. BUT, I am happy with it. I will make more, learn, and get better at making passementerie because I do love the beautiful details..

I still need to make a cream silk lining for the parasol - later though.
