My workshop is in my home in Rahway, New Jersey. I am not a retail shop. By appointment only please This page is my personal business FB page. It is the public face of my business so in turn anything posted here reflects directly upon me and my business. I am sorry but this is not a public forum for anyone to post anything they feel. I have had to hide and delete some comments recently and even had to actually ban a person! Foul language, sexual comments, trolling or bullying will not be tolerated here. As Cherry Dollface says so well:

Saturday September 12th, 2026 from 10am to 6pm is Belvidere Victorian Day in Belvidere NJ

The current plan is for me to be there as a vendor. I will be selling mostly Vintage and antique items (whatever I can pull together to bring and sell). Maybe a couple of corsets and costume pieces. I will also have a Gentlemen's accessories table with reproduction cuff links, cravats, sock garters etc.

(* I deleted the horrible AI poster they sent out to use to promote the event. Ugh, screw them and their many crappy choices. But I long since paid to be there that day so hopefully it will be worth it. I am still not ok from the last few months and have only so many spoons. )

Not a big deal, but a big deal for me. I made a silk tassel for my new/antique parasol that I recovered to match my new 1884 seaside gown. The antique parasol originally had a tassel but it had deteriorated and was little more than the wooden bead and a shredded cord. Is it perfect, no, the cord I made to wrap around the wooden bead top did not hold it's twist when I was wrapping it. BUT, I am happy with it. I will make more, learn, and get better at making passementerie because I do love the beautiful details..

I still need to make a cream silk lining for the parasol - later though.
