A little look at our weekend with Draft Horse!

What a beautiful evening celebrating love! 🤍🥂

We had the pleasure of being part of Alicyn and Bryan’s wedding last night, and what a wonderful celebration it was!

From the gorgeous outdoor setting to the smiles and laughter shared throughout the evening, we loved being part of it all. Our white bar fit right into the beautiful surroundings, and our bartender was all smiles while taking care of guests!

One of our favorite things about what we do is getting to share in these special moments and help make the celebration even more memorable.

Behind the Bar Friday 🍸

Long bar lines usually are not caused by guests drinking too much—they are caused by a menu that is too complicated for the setup.

The biggest slowdowns are often:

• Too many drink options
• Cocktails with several steps or ingredients
• Not enough bartenders for the guest count
• A bar layout that was not planned for the menu

A smaller, thoughtfully planned menu helps bartenders work faster while still giving guests great choices.

What matters more to you at a wedding: more drink options or shorter lines?

Wedding Planning Wednesday 🥂

How much alcohol do you actually need for your wedding?

A common starting estimate is:

• About 1–2 drinks per drinking guest, per hour, during the first couple of hours
• Consumption usually slows as the evening continues
• B**r, w**e and 1–2 signature cocktails can often provide plenty of variety

Your final shopping list should also consider your guest count, event length, menu, season and how your crowd typically celebrates.

The goal is not to buy every bottle possible—it is to have the right amount for the experience you are planning.
